I borrowed a copy of Nine Stories from one of the libraries in the university today and I found this scribbling on the back page. It says:

alienated?

you’re not

the only one

let’s meet.

drink coffee.

smoke some cigar.

and talk about the

pain, menace of alienation

but

i’ll have to apologize

every now & then for

my Holden-Caulfield-Tendencies.

After reading it, an entire movie plot just played out right inside my head. Hahaha. Things like these tickle my imagination. And I think it’s just the right kind of words to read from the back page of a Salinger book. This made my day.
