I’m Charisse, 20. I’ve just graduated from the University of the Philippines - Diliman.
I am like a character from a Sofia Coppola movie, an introspective being with existential crisis, musing lazily on life, love and the why’s.
I like telling stories visually, and it’s something I’d want to do for the rest of my life. I like how Sari Dalena put it - “If you feel like you’re dying [because] you’re not making films, then you know you are up for this.”
Other times, I long for a life like Sal’s from Jack Kerouac’s On The Road and take polariods of strangers, travel by hitchhikes and live in hotel rooms. The world is just calling me to get out there.
I have never dated anyone in twenty years and I’m both happy and sad about it. In the words of CS Lewis, “I am sure God keeps no one waiting. Unless He sees that it is good for them to wait.”
Let’s go out for coffee or something and we can talk some more in person.
PS. I’ve been doing this online writing thing for 5 years now. Favorites would be a good place to start scrolling.
